About the challenge
The Aotearoa Bike Challenge (ABC) is a celebration of community cycling, designed to encourage everyone—from seasoned commuters to first-time riders—to hop on a bike this February.
During this month we are transforming our local region into a hub for two- wheeled fun. The ABC is about more than just logging kilometres; it’s about connecting riders, promoting sustainable transport, and ensuring cycling is accessible and enjoyable for all ages.
We need your help
The Aotearoa Bike Challenge needs your help to keep the wheels turning this February!
Got a few hours and a big smile? Join our team of ABC Bike Heroes! We need help with engaging and distributing a morning coffee and Kai, or afternoon ice blocks to cyclists at different town locations & event assistance at our family cycling scavenger hunts!
