Bike trips in February

In February 2024 more than 1500 cyclists and 99 businesses registered in the annual Aotearoa Bike Challenge.

Taking to two wheels, cyclists in the Queenstown Lakes District biked over 140,000 kms and saved a whopping 7.2t of CO2.

More than 11,000 trips were made by bike in February, an impressive 82% increase from 2023.

Cyclists were motivated by free barista coffees throughout the month, proving that the right fuel can help get people moving.

A huge thanks to Queenstown Lakes District Council for their investment in the Aotearoa Bike Challenge 2024.
