GoGo Electro
The eBike library making travel in the Wakatipu free and easy
Welcome to GoGo Electro, a free initiative designed to help you break free from high petrol prices, traffic congestion, and the daily grind of car travel. Whether you’re commuting, running errands, or doing the school run, an eBike can significantly reduce both your fuel costs and stress levels.
Why try an eBike?
Transform the way you travel
E-bikes have the potential to transform the way you travel, but they are a significant investment. A quick test ride at a bike shop often isn’t enough to decide whether an e-bike is right for you.
That’s where GoGo Electro comes in. Lightfoot’s free three-week trial gives you the chance to experience e-bike travel in real life—helping you decide if it suits your lifestyle and daily routine.
They say it takes a lifetime to break an old habit but just three weeks to form a new one. Let’s see how far you can go in three weeks!

Testimonials

Laura Solsby
“We live in town and try not to use our car wherever possible.
The GoGo Electro Cargo was the perfect way to get around and it made running errands so much more fun for the kids.
The battery packs a punch and the range was not limiting.”

Matt Anderson
“Loved it! I live in Fernhill and work in Queenstown central. I took my friend into town a couple of times which was fun and certainly better than taking the bus.
After work I’d take my 2 kids home, aged 9 and 6, and had no problem riding all the way up Fernhill Rd.
My kids loved the whole experience too. It was great not having to find a car park and just a lot of fun to cruise around on.”

Denis Behan
“The kids and I rode to and from school every day we had the bike as well as to swimming on Tuesdays.
We set a goal to ride no matter the weather and only had one day with rain but it wasn’t a big deal. “
